Our Food is Contaminated: BPA isn’t the only bisphenol!
So you may have heard of a toxic chemical called BPA, and have noticed a lot of companies advertising that their product is “BPA Free”….but BPA is not the only bisphenol! Half of the existing bisphenol chemicals have been found in the US food supply, including in fresh produce. BPP, BPS, BPF….and others are being substituted in to do the work of BPA, but without the notice. Companies advertising “bisphenol free” most likely are not, but just saying BPA doesn’t rule out other harmful chemicals. Beware!
